Pay close attention to this and especially note that it was written in MARCH, 2007:
Peter Ayliffe said that, by 2012, using credit and debit cards should be cheaper and more convenient than cash.
Some retailers could soon start surcharging customers if they choose to buy products with cash, because of the greater cost of processing these payments, he warned.
Visa Europe briefed the British Retail Consortium last month on new “contactless” cards that can be waved in front of a scanner to make small payments.
The banks will NOT give credit. They won’t loan out the money we taxpayers bailed them out with. These institutions are what is stifling the economy. They have us in a strangle-hold, and they know it. The question is: Why? Why indeed!
This is not an accident we find our economy imploding upon itself. We are in the midst of an economic meltdown with a purpose. For me to say it is for the “elite” to control the world, while it might be accurate, is simplistic and relegates me to the tin-foil-hat crowd. They have laid the ground work well and have even set public perception as to how to view their detractors and others who would warn the public about their plans. Clever, huh?
This has been planned out and executed well. We didn’t see it coming? Many people saw it and have been “crying out in the wilderness” for decades but to little avail. I, myself, know that in the mid-1970s that the need to “redistribute the wealth” was a major theme in America’s college classrooms.
You do know it is an easy step from a cashless economy to one where we are absolutely controlled – buying, selling, ability to work and pay bills – by the government. Governments control. That’s what they are all about. Cashless societies essentially yield their freedoms to the regulating control of those in charge of the financial system.
Think the Federal Reserve bunch will be the ones in charge of our coming cashless society?
Bernanke last week threatened about the bad things that would happen if the Fed were audited by Congress. These guys are answerable to no one and they gloat about it like Greenspan did on a Sunday morning talk show.
Excuse me while I adjust my tin-foil hat as I watch our country be destroyed and the end times come into clear focus.
